Download Å PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook ¼ Claudia Kaiser Poodle Training: Dog Training for your Poodle puppy characters Æ PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook Is predominantly what you need to consider during trainingThis book is vol 1 of the Poodle training books Vol 2 for your grown up Poodle is also available onwith the title Poodle Training Vol 2 Dog Training for your grown up PoodleVolume 3 for caring of your Poodle is available with the title Poodle Training Vol 3 – Taking care of your PoodleAuthor Claudia Kaiser says about her book“It was my desire to let other dog owners profit from the knowledge I have gained over many years and after making many mistakes I love my dog and know how important it is to adapt the training to suit each breed It is exactly this desire that prompted me to write this book My aim is to help every beginner not only to understand his dog better but also to know exactly how. if you want a loving companion this book is all wrong I feel sorry for anyone that follows the advice given in this book and for their dog My dog is my companion and my friend My sister s dog is her companion and friend They are both poodles Both of them understand a lot of words and I mean a lot of words and I mean truly understand Why in the world would anyone want a dog they don t talk to that they don t have on their lap or lying next to them when watching tv that they don t take with them whenever they can that isn t walking next to them all the time and that just in general wants to be with you all the time This book makes it sound like the whole idea of having a dog is not to love each other but for the person to control and dominate in every aspect It takes away any idea that a dog has a mind and can use it Here is an example I was sitting on the bottom step of my staircase My sister had gone to the bathroom downstairs Her dog Annie started to go past me to go upstairs I said she didn t go upstairs she went to the bathroom Annie immediately turned around and went directly to the downstairs bathroom which is at the other end of the downstairs Another example My sister used the expression put a lid on it when she wanted Annie to stop barking One night my family was sitting at the table eating and someone left the lid off the ketchup bottle My husband said put the lid on it Annie stood up and looked at him with an expression that said I don t know what you are talking about I didn t make a sound If someone says the word coke in conversation my dog looks up to see if we are getting ready to go to McDonalds If I put on my shoes and pick up my purse my dog jumps up and is ready to go because he thinks we are going somewhere However if I say I m just going to Home Depot disappointment sets in he sits back down because he not only knows he cannot go but he also knows it could be a long trip and I will be gone a while All this is just ordinary conversation no special excitement of inflection in voice In addition to normal conversation our dogs know their own names each other s names our names my grandkids names the name of their toys several many words for treats included spelled words They know that if they are slow in coming in when they are called and we say closing it means the door is closing and they better get in fast and they do But mostly they are here to love us and to be loved When my back hurts my dog knows and will lie down with his back against my back and give me his comfort and heat better than any kind of heating pad Now if you are going to say my dog doesn t know who is boss you would be wrong Totally wrong Our dogs know we are alpha but they also know they are treasured parts of the family THIS BOOK IS SO WRONG AND IF YOU WANT A LOVING COMPANION THIS IS HOW TO MAKE SURE THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN
